My friends Susan Emory and Christine Van Buskirk of Swirly Girls Designs have restyled one of their most successful quilt patterns- “Perfect Ten” using my fabrics! When Susan sent me the graphic above I quickly printed it and ran around the Studio showing everyone! Needless to say, I loved it!

As soon as the Natural Graffiti fabric arrives this March I can’t wait to have my very own “real” thing!

Shown in the design are piece from our “Enchanted Damask”, “Flight Pattern”, and as I mentioned the upcoming, “Natural Graffiti” Fabric Collectons.

Please excuse the finger tips holding this quilt up for the camera! I was so happy to finally see the finished results of this darling baby quilt designed by Cara Wilson for my company to showcase my fabric. Cara named this quilt, “The Flight of the Hippie Butterfly”. which I totally love! My friend Pat Pfeiffer lovingly  pieced it, and Mary Covey’s quilting made it even more special!

Flight of the Hippie Butterfly Quilt

Very excited to share the new quilt designed for my company, Ellen Medlock, LLC  by Jean Ann Wright with my Enchanted Damask Fabric Collection!
The finished quilt size is 54″ x 66″, featuring three 12″ x 12″ darling applique butterfly quilt blocks.

Their scalloped “bohemian” style wings are reminescent of the Art Deco period of design a la the 1920′s. (I don’t know about you, but I am sure noticing more and more Deco design influence  sneaking into home decor, as well as quilting!)

 Jean Ann tells me this is a Beginner Level quilt. Her excellent  instructions walk you through construction and applique technique. I am awaiting the printing of the paper version of the quilt pattern, and hope to have the downloadable quilt pattern ready asap! For more info and preodering check out my store!
