The world of fabric design and printing has certainly opened up!I find it all very exciting that it is so totally accessible for any crafter!
If you have been keeping up with the likes of http://www.Spoonflower.com and http://www.FabricOnDemand.com you know exactly what I mean! The designs I have seen are fantastic, indie driven, and definitely worth taking a moment to explore at these sites.
I have watched closely as pricing on digital printing has fallen over the last few years, thankfully. When I first investigated this process for the printing of my own designs.. it was hard to find a digital printer that was under $200 a yard! Now yardage is priced around $16-$18 per yard for quilting weight cotton!
Of course we are most familiar with the traditional screen printed fabric we all know and love.. now there is more to love! Check out the sites above, and become your own fabric designer.. they make it sooo easy! And please let me know if there are other sources I have not found!
