Coming Soon! New Fabric Collection~ Natural Graffiti

September 21, 2011

Our big show is just around the corner next month in Houston, Texas at International Quilt Market!  Booth 2025
I am so pleased to finally have the artwork for our new fabric line called, “Natural Graffiti” ready for it’s debut! The collection will be shipping to our customers in February/March 2012.

The image above is my personal  favorite part of the group, #912 “The Graffiti Collage  Panel”. The Panel is 42″ wide by 24″ high. Useful as the center of a Wall Hanging,  a Quilt- or to be cut for Pillows, Home Decor , or Crafting!

All 20 total pieces of this 100% cotton Natural Graffiti collection will coordinate with my previous fabric designs too! In fact, Enchanted Damask,  Flight Pattern, as well as Natural Graffiti were created as one super huge explosion of graphic creativity!
We have kept a nice selection of the earlier releases available for this reason.

The colorway shown above  is Turquoise, and Lavender is shown below…

The third colorway is Fuchsia_The  Graffiti Collage Panel

I look forward to sharing more pieces of this unique quilt fabric with you in the days to come!

Please let us know which colorway is YOUR favorite, and one lucky random commentor will win the Panel of their choice after it is produced!

Thank you!

Making My Indie Fabric

March 4, 2011

While scrolling thought the images on my computer lately, I came across this picture I had saved earlier. It reminded me of the road I have traveled while bringing my first fabric collection, “Enchanted Damask” & my new second fabric collection ”Flight Pattern” to life!  The bulk of  “Flight Pattern” fabric is now only a few days from port! Yippeee!

In the above photo, my mill is communicating how my 3 colorways will appear, as well as confirming my preferred placement of the design on the 44″ width. I believe this was the second strike-off. (Note that they are NOT telling me that my colors will phase from one to the other, as I of course had to confirm! LOL!)

An endeavor of this scale might be considered foolhardy for myself as the fabrics artist, and my little company as the producer/importer. However, the learning opportunities and rewards I hope will always out weigh this risk! To be totally clear, no other fabric company is “doing this for me”.

So Please SHOP INDIE DESIGNERS when you have the opportunity, wholesale or retail! This vote of confidence makes a big difference to we foolhardy fabric crazed insane souls!

April 21, 2010

My ship has literally “come in”! Please allow me to introduce  my new tiny but mighty fabric line, Enchanted Damask! Three colorways are available- Citrus, Turquoise and Fuchsia for the Damask design and it’s coordinating Spring Dot.
Check out the two free quilt designs by Jean Ann Wright featuring this fabric. Truly love the quilt shown above, “Bohemian Butterflies” , which will be free for wholesale purchases of the full 6 Piece Collection, as well as sold individually.

Just finished the super roomy diy bag, The BonVivant! It is shown above in the Fuchsia colorway of both Enchanted Damask and Spring Dot.  Busy having fun creating lots of fun projects to showcase this versatile fabric group…will share as soon as I have a moment to snap a few photos! I sure hope it moves though US Customs quicky, and makes it to your fav quilt/sewing shop asap for YOUR sewing fun! And don’t forget to share your creativity with me please… on facebook, twitter, and flickr!

Life in Bracelet Heaven

July 3, 2008

bracelets

Ahhhh! Living in bracelet heaven has been very theraputic! Above are a few of the results! I did nothing it seems but make bracelet samples sunrise to well, well  past sunset for several days. (Boy, did it take a long time just to clean up!) Now that my brain is back down to earth, I wanted to share the fun! In case you are wondering, my Bangle Bracelet Set is still in the packaging phase for release soon. These were made using the NAKED bracelets that come in the Set. All you have to do is narrow down the millions of ways to cover them! That’s the only hard part!
